Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures

With 10 years of experience in driving the integration of climate change and environmental information in mainstream corporate reports, we support the mission of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to make climate disclosure mainstream.

The TCFD is an industry-led initiative created to develop a set of recommendations for voluntary climate-related financial disclosures. These are aimed at all financial actors, from companies and investors to asset owners and managers, as the goal is to provide consistent and transparent information to global markets.

The CDSB Framework for reporting environmental and climate change information - was developed to help companies report climate change and environmental information in the mainstream corporate reports (such as the annual report), therefore providing consistent and comparable information to investors.

We are committed to supporting rapid and good quality implementation of the TCFD recommendations and disclosures in the mainstream report.

We believe there is value for businesses in investing in appropriate governance, risk management and strategic planning processes that will ensure effective reporting practices. This helps companies become more resilient to the systemic risks associated with climate change and make better decisions for their future business.

Our work supports companies and regulators in the implementation process by providing the practical and technical guidance they need to implement the recommendations. This ranges from providing a framework to guide companies, through convening experts from different areas of reporting, to providing practical support to companies and profile to the first movers through a series of seminars, guidance papers and thought leadership pieces.
