On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB. Documents online from UNCTAD workshop on climate change reporting

On 16 March 2012, CDSB attended a workshop with UNCTAD, OECD, and GRI at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The meeting focused on:

  • Providing information, evidence and resources to support greater understanding of the policies, initiatives and practices that currently lead to the demand for and supply of climate change related information.
  • Identify the main problems linked to the current lack of consistency of climate change disclosure systems.
  • Assess the benefits of greater consistency.
  • Pave the way for further discussions on consistency in the demand for and supply of climate change related information.
