The Climate Disclosure Standards Board is today announcing that Lois Guthrie is stepping down from her role as Founding Director. Lois will continue to be involved in special projects for the organization as an advisor, but she will be taking on a new role with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Lois departs from CDSB after 10 years, having contributed to the advancement of the corporate reporting sector in countless ways. She has contributed to all of CDSB’s major pieces of work, from the Climate Change Reporting Framework and the Framework for reporting environmental information & natural capital to numerous technical publications that have driven forward the mainstream thinking around climate and environmental reporting.
Simon Messenger, Managing Director, Climate Disclosure Standards Board, said: "I would like to whole-heartedly thank Lois for all her work and dedication over the past 10 years. Lois has been instrumental in building CDSB from an idea to reality and turning it into the forward-thinking organisation it is today. Her vision of a harmonized and collaborative corporate reporting landscape is a key driver of much of the work that we are seeing today in this space. CDSB will continue to take forward this vision to achieve its mission.”
