The CDSB Secretariat welcomes Dr Jarlath Molloy to its team. Jarlath will be responsible for managing the expansion of the CDSB Reporting Framework to cover forests and water, including leading the research, development of the Framework and public consultation of the new Framework.
Since 2006 Jarlath has collaborated with industry partners and worked successfully internationally. Prior to joining CDSB, Jarlath worked at ICAO's Environment Branch and was previously lead technical author of a project for the European Commission which developed a new environment assessment framework and best practices for environmental management in the aviation industry. In addition, he developed and conducted a consultation strategy in the EU (including regulators, Members of the European Parliament, industry stakeholders, NGOs and others), investigating a range of policy issues related to climate change and air transport.
Jarlath gained his PhD from Imperial College London where he investigated how the European aviation sector could support long-term EU climate policy and gained a first class MSc in Climate Change from the University of East Anglia (UEA) Norwich.
