On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB. Secretariat

CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) provides the Secretariat to CDSB and manages CDSB's global work programme on behalf of the Board.

The Secretariat's work is carried out with significant input from the Board, the Advisory Committee and the Technical Working Group. 

The Secretariat’s role is to:

  • progress the strategy, project plan and communications of CDSB;
  • co-ordinate fundraising activities;
  • provide technical, organizational and analytical support to the CDSB Board of Trustees & Technical Working Group; and
  • act as a focal point of information.
